Andrea Navedo has been an American actor and singer since 10th October 1977. Her birthplace was in the Bronx, New York, United States. Navedo started her acting career in soaps that aired in the daytime. Navedo was in the ABC soap drama One Life to Live as Linda Soto from 1995 to 1997. The actress joined the CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. She began her career as a film actress with a role in Girl 6 (1996), and later, she was a part of seasons of New York Undercover (1997) and The District. Navedo starred with Double Take in 2001 and Washington Heights the next year. Navedo was a regular actor in the NBC drama series Law & Order between 2001 between 2001 and 2004 as the role of Detective Ana Cordova. In the following season, he played Detective Ana Cordova on Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo appeared in a number of movies, such as El Cantante (The Cantante) as well as Remember Me.
